Dr Belinda Lee is a Medical Oncologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and the Cancer Services Research Lead and Head of the Cancer Clinical Trials unit at Northern Health. She is the recipient of the Hemstritch Centenary Fellowship at the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute (WEHI), where she established the International PURPLE pancreatic cancer registry platform. The PURPLE registry links clinical data and translational research from over 53 cancers centres across Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. Dr Lee co-chairs the DYNAMIC-pancreas trial, DIRECT-InspIRE trial, and the Pancreatic cancer biomarker study. She was awarded the Kellaway Excellence Award for Translational Research (2020) and selected for the Victorian Premiers Award for Excellence in Health and Medical Research (2021).
